Helen Barrett, new business development manager at Curtin&Co

What is your role at Curtin&Co?

New business development manager

Why is Curtin&Co supporting Sitematch 2018?

We are proud to sponsor Sitematch London 2018 because, with the London elections looming, politics is going to be more important than ever for the development industry.

The current spotlight on housing means that Sitematch provides the ideal opportunity for developers and local authorities to start positive working relationships which will have a genuine impact on supply.  Plus, the attendance of people like Curtin&Co offers the opportunity to discuss how communities and politicians can positively influence development proposals.

How did it benefit your firm last time?

Curtin&Co also sponsored Sitematch in 2017.  We saw real benefits for our clients who attended in terms of building relationships and being able to actively source land in partnerships with some of the local authorities who attended.  Speeding up the process of identifying and promoting land can only be good for housing and infrastructure delivery.

What will you offer to the other delegates at Sitematch London?

We are exclusively political and community engagement specialists.  All of our consultants remain politically active, so we offer real insight and expertise as to how politicians think, and how developers can work positively with them to build developments which everyone can be proud of.
